Dairy Farm consisting of the finest breeds of Cows and Buffaloes to produce milk for different milk plants in Lahore and milk vendors in Sialkot, Sheikhupura and Faisalabad. Automatic milking, milk purification and its storage in refrigerated tankers were some of the important ingredients of the project design.

Chain of Exclusive Gift Shops carrying distinct products such as hand made dhurries, fibreglass decorative items, onyx and brass items, miniature paintings, etc.
Fashion House carrying avant garde men’s garments. The project design took into consideration such aspects as hiring designers, fabric selection, pattern tracing and cutting, and exclusive showings, devising marketing and promotional strategies.
Shopping Arcade consisting of Designer Boutiques, Italian Restaurant, Grocery shops, Pharmacy, Ice Cream Parlour, Coffee Shop, BookShop, etc.

MEDIA

General Interest Magazine to be published monthly on a national level.
Creative Boutique (small advertising agency) to prepare advertising to run in print media, outdoor, radio and television. Its focus was on preparing creative execution of clients’ communications.
Development and Implementation of a Computer-based Corporate Planning System including training the company’s personnel, submitting a comprehensive report and guide to its

FINANCIAL STUDIES

Devised a Credit Proposal for Parke-Davis, for running finance purposes and to evaluate its short-term pay back ability. A Credit Risk Evaluation was also undertaken. The Macro Environment and the Industry structure of the Pharmaceutical Industry were analysed while devising the proposal.
Worked out Cash Flow projections for Pakistan Tobacco Company in order to assess its future loan payback ability through projected cash flows. In this research project the various tools of Financial Analysis were used such as: Ratio Analysis, Trend Analysis, Vertical Analysis and Fundamental Analysis.
Conducted a Credit Management analysis on ANZ Grindlays, Islamabad. The function of the credit department, the policies, and the facilities provided by the bank were analysed.

MARKETING STUDIES

Prepared an overall Strategic Marketing Plan for Telecom Foundation emphasising on the role of each department, project & subsidiary.
Studied the Marketing Mix of FUJI FILM Pakistan (Pvt.) Limited.
Conducted a Marketing Research Study on Marriott Hotel, Islamabad. Hypothesis Testing was carried out to prove that customers prefer Marriott to other Hotels due to superior quality service.
Designed a Marketing Plan for D.C. Pagers. The focus of the plan was to increase sales through better definition of target markets, improved promotional strategies and a wider distribution network.

PROMOTION

Proposed Advertising & Sales Promotion Strategies for TF PayPhones Limited. Devised Guidelines for Sales Force motivation & prepared the Strategic Personal Selling Process for increasing card sales.
Developed Marketing Strategies for TF Pipes Limited with special emphasis on the Promotional Mix & Direct Marketing to boost sales of PVC Pipes and to tap new markets.
Developed a Promotional Campaign of a Hospital Complex having a Public Service Orientation to avail a 30% discount on TV ads.
Developed a Promotional Campaign to create selective demand for a leading Casual & Dress Shoe Brand (Don Carlos) through sustained preference. The theme of the campaign titled, "Experience the World at your Feet with Timelessly Fashioned Don Carlos", and was an extension of the previous theme, "The Don Carlos Experience". An in-depth market analysis was conducted. The Creative and the Media briefs were designed relative to the target market.
Developed a Promotional Campaign for launching Branded Diamonds in Pakistan. It attempted to persuade target audience that a Branded Diamond has more status is more fashionable than other ornamental jewellery due to its empowering presence.
Developed Local Level Advertising Campaigns for Options Beauty Parlour, Generations Boutique (Ladies Designer Apparel), Crystal Video Centre, Telecom Foundation Public Schools, Hasan Carpets (Pvt.) Limited, Pak Carpets, TCS Courier Service, Finishing Touch.
Prepared Direct Marketing Campaigns for Dried and Synthetic Flower Arrangements; Embossed, Transparent, Opaque and Crystalline Glass Paintings along with Mercury and Crystal Etching products; Non-conformist wooden furniture; Home made Bakery Items; Distinct Party Shoes with add-on heals buckles, etc.; Catering services specialising in "Punjabi Village Cuisine"; Unbranded Computers and allied services; Exclusive handicrafts and furniture of Swat; Xanthum Greeting Cards.

Studied the problem of Piracy faced by Shalimar Recording Company and suggested a solution pack to overcome it.
Probed into the overall set-up of TF Pipes limited and proposed remedial action to resolve inter departmental conflicts arising mainly due to misspelled job duties & responsibilities.
Performed an overall SWOT Analysis of TF Pay Phones Limited. Discovered problems encountered by the public & phone card retailers and proposed recommendations.
Performed an overall SWOT Analysis of Interflow Communications (Pvt.) Limited.
Prepared a Strategic Management Plan for Pakistan Tobacco Company in order to assess its current status and future prospects. A Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threats (S.W.O.T) Analysis was conducted by scanning the company’s external and internal environments. The company’s Corporate and Business level strategies were also analysed.
